Some of Elsie's ancestors are from Germany. We are already 4th generation Namibians, but some of our ancestors were in Africa over 300 years ago. Our five children are already grown-up and return frequently to stay on Vreugde. Our son, Danie, has now returned to live with us on the farm and, with his wife, helps us manage Vreugde. We love our piece of land, the stunning landscapes that surround it and the wildlife. For many years now we have been welcoming guests to our farm. Many of them return to Vreugde again and again and become good friends.
